Lesson 6 of 64
Getting started
Set team permissions and employee access
Prepare employee access, role permissions, attendance tools and account security for daily operations.
Before you begin
Use an owner or authorised management account. Decide which tasks each employee actually needs to perform.
Step by step
- Open Employee Management and review existing staff before adding someone. Give each person their own account.
- Assign roles and page permissions to match duties such as cashier, inventory operator or accounts reviewer.
- Check access with the intended staff account, including location or operation restrictions where offered. Keep owner-level actions limited.
- Use Attendance & Leave for supported employee attendance records. Review Settings and Security for account and session controls.
- Review permissions when duties change and remove access when staff leave. Use audit records when investigating a sensitive operation.
Check the result
A staff member should reach the tools needed for their job and be blocked from restricted management actions.
Common question
Why can an employee see fewer modules than the owner?
Navigation depends on role permissions and enabled business capabilities. Review both permissions and subscription access before changing roles.
