Lesson 13 of 64
Stock, finance & operations
Manage inventory, locations and stock counts
Track stock by location, review movements and record documented stock corrections.
Before you begin
Create products and active locations. Have a physical count and receiving records when investigating differences.
Step by step
- Open Inventory and select the location and product or variant. Review available stock before promising a quantity to a customer.
- Review movement history to connect receipts, sales, returns, production and transfers to the current quantity.
- Use the supported transfer workflow when moving stock between locations. Record the actual source, destination and quantity.
- For a stock count, compare the physical count with the recorded quantity and investigate unrecorded receipts or sales before posting a correction.
- Record an authorised adjustment with a reason and supporting note. Reopen movement history and check low-stock items for replenishment.
Check the result
The movement should identify the correct location and quantity. A stock correction does not replace a linked sale return or production correction.
Common question
Why can stock differ between locations?
Feemo tracks location-specific activity. Check the location selected on receipts, sales, transfers and production before changing a balance.
