Create and review recipes and bills of materials

Define a repeatable product recipe with consistent units and a clear output basis.

Before you begin

Create material and finished-product variants and review their units and enabled manufacturing mode.

Step by step

  1. Open Recipes and select the intended finished product and recipe workflow offered for the current mode.
  2. Set the defined output and add exact material variants and their quantities using consistent units.
  3. Review any supported cost drivers or additional controls only when your workflow requires them.
  4. Save and activate the intended default recipe where required, then reopen to verify its material list.
  5. Preview production at a known quantity and compare scaled requirements before completing any real batch.

Check the result

Required materials should scale correctly from the defined output and match the intended variant and units.

Common question

Does editing a recipe rewrite completed production?

Review completed batches as historical records. Use the linked correction workflow for posted mistakes rather than relying on a recipe edit.
