Lesson 28 of 64
Store content & customers
Improve storefront SEO and publish useful blog posts
Write product and page titles, review indexing controls and publish helpful articles for your customers.
Before you begin
Use an online storefront with content permissions. Enable the storefront's Blog setting before publishing articles there.
Step by step
- In storefront SEO controls, write a clear page title and description for each important page. Match the words customers use to the actual product or service.
- Check public URLs, canonical settings and indexing controls. Review the sitemap and robots settings when the storefront is ready for search visitors.
- Open Blog and create an article with a specific title and readable slug. Use the visual editor for headings, useful instructions and links to relevant products.
- Add an excerpt and save a private draft first. Reopen it to check structure, spelling, links and how it reads on a phone before publication.
- Publish when ready and inspect the public article. When adding images or videos later, include descriptive alternative text or captions and keep the written explanation.
Check the result
Confirm the page is public, its title describes its content and its links work. Indexing and rankings depend on search engines and are not guaranteed by saving SEO fields.
Common question
Should I repeat keywords many times?
Use one clear topic and answer the customer's question with specific information. Place relevant terms naturally in the title, headings and text.
