Quick-add products, bulk-edit prices and classify materials
Use catalog shortcuts for controlled multi-product edits and manufacturing-role classification.
Before you begin
Check catalog edit permission and any separate inventory permission needed for stock fields.
Step by step
- Use Quick Add for a shorter product entry or New Product for full registration. Search existing SKUs before creating variants.
- Open Bulk Update and narrow the list by category, brand, active state or stock filters.
- Edit only the intended rows. For a price operation, select the price field and percentage or fixed change, then inspect the before/after preview.
- Save pending changes before leaving or changing pages. Reopen a sample product and verify identifiers, prices and active state.
- Open Material Classification and assign each variant's normal manufacturing role where useful. This classification does not prevent selling, purchasing or stocking it.
Check the result
Verify a small sample after saving and keep price edits separate from physical stock corrections.

Is Bulk Update a general spreadsheet import?
It edits the catalog rows and supported actions displayed on screen. Do not assume arbitrary file import is available.
