Lesson 2 of 64
Getting started
Read the dashboard, analytics and branch operations
Use business summaries to identify work that needs attention and open the underlying records.
Before you begin
Select your company and permitted branch scope. Decide the date range you want to review.
Step by step
- Open Dashboard and confirm the active company before reading any totals.
- Choose the available period and branch filters. A company-wide total may differ from a single branch.
- Review sales, cash and operational indicators separately. Open the source module to investigate an unexpected figure.
- Open Analytics for period comparisons and Branch Operations for the branch-level operational view available to your role.
- Use the available daily-report action when a saved or printed summary is needed, and check its dates and scope.
Check the result
Compare a summary with its source records using identical filters, rather than treating all indicators as profit.
Common question
Why do two dashboard totals differ?
Check period, branch scope, transaction status and what each metric measures before changing records.
